What’s on your mind? BULLYING: the verbal or physical use of force, threat, or coercion to abuse, intimidate, or aggressively dominate others; this behavior is often repeated and habitual but not to be confused with normal peer teasing … just saw a cute little Stop Bullying crusade that promotes hugs and smiles; with the exception of Mr Rogers Neighborhood, I can’t see that working to end anything anywhere … I’m guessing that campaign was brought to us by the same master minds who decided frying an egg would win the fight against drugs; and we all know how that turned out, a lot of 24 hour diners running out of eggs … how about leaving sugar coating to cereal and all other breakfast foods in the kitchen and talk to the kids like the little invincible bad asses they think they are, maybe try the truth …. If I was asked to write the commercial, it would go something like this:

‘A BULLY, at any age, is an insecure douche bag with self-esteem issues; and if you stand by witnessing it while doing nothing you’re a spineless pussy that will continue to be a follower your entire life; but it takes a strong individual to speak up and put a stop to it … so do you want to be an insecure douche bag, a spineless pussy or a strong individual … you decide!’
